I had the wonderful pleasure and experience of speaking with iconic supermodel IMAN. To many she is the face of many couture houses over the past three decades. Today, she is a business mogul in the fashion and beauty world herself. Down to earth, and extremely real, speaking to IMAN is like talking with a big sister. Always full of wisdom, and worldly advice. We had great conversation, and as I was saying to IMAN, she is truly one of those celebrities that I am still 'star struck' by!

But as we spoke about fashion, beauty and lifestyle. IMAN and I caught up on her latest line IMAN Global Chic, promoting her exquisite fashion accessories line, as well as her daily trends.

Jacqueline H: To get back to fashion and beauty. IMAN we and our readers would love to know some of your fashion and beauty tips!

IMAN: Well I always say, "Stay away from trends!" And stick to what looks good on you! I love heels, but they can be so uncomfortable, so I will go with flats.

Jacqueline H: What beauty product or fashion accessory can't you live without?

IMAN: I love jeans! They are great! As you can dress them up or down.

Jacqueline H: What do you do to relax with such a busy lifestyle?

IMAN: Well I love to go for massage. And I think that it is an essential, rather than a splurge! And having time spent with yourself, is so important, as we deserve it!

Jacqueline H: How do you stay in such great shape? And do you have any tips for us that we could use!

IMAN: Well I have to say that I have great genes! (Laughing). Well I love to walk a lot, especially around New York City. And get my cardiovascular in that way.

Jacqueline H: I always love to add a fashion trivia question to my interviews! IMAN there was a famous french designer, he use to say that “Fashions fade, but that style is eternal"?

IMAN: Now if you never mentioned that it was a 'he', I would of guessed Coco Chanel. But since you did I would guess Yves Saint Laurent?

Jacqueline H: Ah you are so good at this! That is correct! And yes I probably did give it away by mentioning that. 

She is exquisite, she is exceptional, she is one of the most photographed and loved iconic supermodels of our time. With a career that spans three decades. Iman has a way of keeping in touch and very involved with global fashion and beauty.
With her fantastic lines of Iman Cosmetics and also her Iman Global Chic Line. We find here a gloriously profound entrepreneur and business woman. Who knows how to put the 'classic' into anything. Yet alone everything she promotes and touches, turns to gold.

Iman's background and future also transcend her. Iman is sometimes described as her native land's most famous export. (She was born in Mogadishu, Somalia). Becoming one of the most sought-after fashion models of the 1970s and 1980s.
